Can we see who is bidding and how much we need to
bid?
Yes. You can see who is winning on the big
screens and on your handset. You can also apply 'Bid
Increments' to your lots and the amount needed to beat the current
highest bidder is also displayed on the handset and can be
displayed on screen. Some events chose to display the bid
increments of lots on the big screen too.
Is the bidding secure?
Yes, all IML
fundraising solutions work on a secure closed network. This ensures
there are no internet connection or mobile signal problems
and that we receive 100% of all bids received with a time stamp to
avoid confusion over who bid first!
Is my event big enough?
IML offer
solutions for all sized events, and we are convinced that the extra
funds raised will not only pay for the system but also save you
time and the administration costs of a paper based system. Most
events we are involved in start at 100 guests. Call us on +61

Will IML take payment?
IML’s primary focus
is on providing a tool to maximise funds raised. The feedback from
the many fundraising organisations we have worked with is that all
financial matters are best dealt directly between the valued guest
and the charity. We therefore don’t take payment but we streamline
the process by providing printed customised invoices and reports at
the end of the Silent Auction.
Will the handsets get lost?
All handsets
have built in alarms to reduce the chance of loss or theft.
What are the branding and sponsorship
opportunities?
From smartcard branding with sponsor
logo's to big screen branding and now handset screen branding with
the new IML Connector and Tablet solutions there are lots of
opportunities for sponsor branding helping your event raise even

Can we use Tablets or iPads?
Yes, IML have
just released our secure tablet solution; IML Fundraiser. We've
mentioned it in this newsletter and there's more info here...
Can we have pictures?
Yes you can have
pictures displayed on the big screens for each lot included in the
Silent Auction. We can display pictures for single screen scrolling
display and 5 items per page scrolling display. Our 10 items per
page scrolling display looks too crowded with pictures so we
suggest if you have lots of items you include your pictures in your
brochure. We can always scroll any pictures of special/ valuable
lots using our single lot display at various points in the
evening.
Can we see who's winning and how much we need to

Yes, you can see who's winning on the big screen
scrolling display and on your handset or tablet screen. You can
also see how much you need to bid to start winning and bid
increment information.
Can we run a Pledge through the
system?
Yes, this is a great way to encourage people
who are priced out of the Silent Auction to donate. Our pledge
system allows guests to pledge donations throughout the night with
a running total displayed on screen. There is also the option of a
Pledge Totaliser to help increase donations - there's more about
the Pledge Totaliser below or online here...
Will this raise me more money?
IML’s
fundraising solutions are proven to help raise more funds, but

How many lots will i need?
Entirely up to
you, there are no limitations on lot numbers whether you have 5 or
500 lots.
What else can the handsets do?
The IML
handsets can be used for quizzes and games and have built in
microphones for discussions and audience Q&A. There's more info
