The role
Reports to: Peter Hair
The Account Manager will play a vital role in the sustained growth and progression of our company and will be responsible for:
• Negotiating to close sales and maintain on-going relationships.
• Arranging demonstrations and visit potential/existing clients and secure new business.
• Supplying customers with accurate and timely responses regarding product information and pricing enquiries.
• Building up detailed knowledge about the company's products and services.
• Monitoring and reporting back on new business activity, to be reviewed on a regular basis.
• Attending business generation events and exhibitions.
• Working closely with sales and marketing teams to push forward lead generation initiatives.
• Contributing to sales plans.
• Creating better understanding of client’s needs and buying triggers.
Begin their training in our Operations Department. They will work out on-site to understand IML’s products and services and the solutions we offer our clients. This may involve working outside of usual office hours.
• Sales qualifications or experience useful but not essential as training on IML products & services will be provided.
• Excellent communication, customer service and administrative skills both written & oral (admin skills to include use of Word, Excel, MS Outlook and customer contact databases e.g. ACT).
• Positive and flexible.
• Good attention to detail.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage own time effectively and work to deadlines.
• Ability and enthusiasm to meet targets.
• Confident to contact clients for information and to follow-up quotes effectively.
